The Times of India is running 1/4 page ads on why men should respect women.

This is huge. There are no words for how happy I am to post this vs everything I usually reblog.
(Waiting for the NY Times to do something similar. Of course, they’d have to take time off from justifying the actions of gang rapists.)

A huge feminist statement from a national paper! Very interesting to see how the backlash against the rape epidemic in India has manifested itself. Really awesome to see them proudly espousing a vision of masculinity which is not based on the violence towards and devaluing of women and the feminine.

This is pretty remarkable to see in print. Wish I had a copy to frame. India’s on the right track - wish we’d get on it.
